This blog was created to provide updates on the the preparation and fund raising activities of the Calvary Church Mission Trip to Lilongwe, Malawi, Africa and to provide updates during the trip when possible. While many of you who are following this blogspot, maybe waiting on pictures I have to tell you that these pictures will look sharp, sterile and "perfect" to eye, but what we saw,felt, and experienced was in no way sterile or perfect. How these kids and people are forced to live is not "perfect", which increases our need to not be just aware, but to act on behalf of what, Christ charged all of us to do, is to take care of the widows and orphans. So in months to come we will be asking, begging for more followers of Christ to join us physically, spiritually, and financially to continuing our missions to help the people of Africa.
